MSA 50x50m Club Challenge

On September 22, 2025, we marked the 50th anniversary of Masters Swimming in Australia, originally established on September 22, 1975. We were thrilled to have over 10 clubs join us, with more than 180 members taking to the water to swim 50×50s. The challenge was in the Club setting do one (1) set of 50x50m at your own pace not only for ‘fitness, friendship and fun’ but also as there are various categories open to qualify for MSA recognition and rewards:

1. • The Club with most Members who collectively swim the 50x50m set together in one session*
   • The Club with most Members who swim 50x50m in total over the course of the ‘long’ weekend period*
     (* In order to try and equalise the field, 50x50m / Club participant numbers will be calculated as a % of your total Club membership number up to and including 21 September 2025).
   • The Member/s who swims all 50 of the 50m on the fastest time cycle (both short and long course will be recognised)
   • The oldest and the youngest Member to swim a set of 50x50m
