MSA National Committees – call for nominations
Do YOU want to help make a difference with Masters Swimming in Australia? We have EXTENDED the nomination date for two (2) National Committees. If this sounds like you, please reach out to us:
- You are a Coach with five (5) or more years’ experience (Coaching Committee)
- You want to help break down barriers to Participation (Diversity & Inclusion Committee)
- You want to help grow our Membership (Membership Committee)
- You want to help evolve in the space of competitive and non-competitive programs (Swim Program Committee)
- You are an Official who has officiated at Masters State or Club events (Technical Committee)
The new Swim Program Committee is responsible for all of the ways we engage our members when they’re swimming. Our members swim for many reasons – some compete, others swim for distance, some simply enjoy the social aspect of swimming. We have a number of initiatives aimed at helping our members get the most from their membership, from e1000 to the Vorgee Million Meters and the National Championships; our aim is creating something for everyone. Join this committee to help us review and refresh the current offerings and look for new and exciting ways to ensure every member feels included in the MSA swim program.
The National Membership Committee works to support our clubs to grow and build their membership, focussing on engagement, understanding clubs’ needs and supporting the National Office with campaigns to boost member numbers. The committee previously supported the successful Just One More grants program, supporting our clubs with funds to invest in existing and reach new members.
Process
- A nomination form is below, which is to be completed by the nominee.
- All nominees are required to outline their reasons for wishing to join the relevant committee.
- A curriculum vitae (CV) and a photo is also required to be attached to the nomination form.
