Masters Swimming Australia is in the process of migrating its membership and meet entry system to a new platform, Swim Central, in partnership with Swimming Australia.

Swim Central is a membership and event entry system that is specifically designed to empower swimmers to participate in, and administrators & coaches to run, community swimming.

New 2022 memberships or renewals through the old platform, Gameday (formerly SportsTG), will close on September 31, 2022 and 2023 memberships will be available only through Swim Central from November 1, 2022.

This new platform utilises the Stripe internet payment system for all membership, merchandise & meet entry payments. Stripe makes moving money as simple, borderless, and programmable as the rest of the internet, and it processes hundreds of billions of dollars each year for small and large enterprises.

All existing 2022 MSA members will have their profile transferred to Swim Central – when notified that this process has been completed, please follow the steps in the FAQs below to sign in and set a system password. This year, membership renewals for the 2023 season will be available from November 1, 2022.

New members for the 2023 season – please follow the steps in the FAQs below to create a new profile. You will be able to purchase a new club membership from November 1, 2022.

Existing Members – How do I set, or change (reset), my password?

First step is to create a password or reset/change one if you have an existing SC profile. It’s important that you don’t re-register using a different email address. Simply follow the steps below to reset your password. 

To Reset/Change Your Password

  1. From the Swim Central login screen select the ‘Forgot Password?’ option.
  2. Enter your email address that was used to set up your Swim Central account into the ‘Your Email’ field.
  3. Select ‘Send Request’. 
  4. You will see a pop-up that lets you know the request was received
  5. An email will be sent to you from noreply@swimming.org.au 
  6. *Please check your spam/junk folders if you do not see an email in your inbox. Please note this can take up to 30 minutes
  7. This will open a ‘Reset Password’ screen within your internet browser.
  8. Enter your email address in the ‘Your Email’ field and then enter your desired password, then select ‘Reset’. Your password will need to contain at least 8 characters, with at least 1 uppercase letter and 1 number.
  9. You will be redirected to a ‘Your password has been reset’ screen.
  10. Select ‘Return to Log In’ , enter your email address and password to complete the sign in process. You are now in Swim Central.

New Members – How to sign in to, or create a new Swim Central “Profile”

To create a Swim Central profile/account please follow the following steps to register and login. Please note each member profile in Swim Central requires a unique email address

  1. Go to Swim Central https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au/home  and at the bottom of the right hand screen Select Register for an account.
  2. Enter your email address and create a password that contains at least 8 characters, with at least 1 uppercase letter and 1 number, and select Register.

    Alternatively you can register using your Google, Facebook or Apple account.
  3. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address you entered from   noreply@swimming.org.au
  4. You will need to access your inbox and click the confirmation link in the email before proceeding. Please check your spam/junk folders if you do not see an e-mail in your inbox within a few minutes.
  5. Select Return to Swim Central from the email to confirm your email address.
  6. A new window will pop up to show you that your email address has been confirmed.  
  7. Select Return to Log in and the system login screen will appear. 
  8. Enter your newly registered e-mail and password then select Login.
  9. You need to read and agree to the Swim Central Terms and Conditions.

You will now be logged in to Swim Central.

How do I purchase a membership – new or renewal?

This Help Sheet will assist you with purchasing a memberships for a Masters Swimming Club via Swim Central. To purchase a membership you need to have either create a profile or login to your existing profile in Swim Central. Please note membership fees differ between Branches and Clubs and the below fees are an example only. To access Swim Central click here https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au/home

•    If you have an existing Swim Central profile, you need to login and click on Store – follow steps below on purchasing a membership

•    If you are unsure if you have a Swim Central profile, click on forgot password

o if you receive a reset email you have a Swim Central profile and follow the steps to reset your password to login

o if you do not receive one and your email is not in Swim Central you need to create a new profile

Once you have a Swim central profile you need to be logged in and from the menu option to the left select Store, then Select Memberships

Search for your club by club name by postcode or by suburb

Select yourself as the member you are purchasing a membership for.

If the club you are purchasing a membership for has more than one membership product you will see them listed.

If there are no products displaying in the store please check with the Club (or contact Masters Swimming Australia or your Branch) as they may not have any membership products available to purchase.

Select the appropriate membership by selecting ‘Add to Cart for Member name’ at the bottom of the product tile – you cannot add more than one of the same membership

To go to Checkout click on the cart icon next to your name

•    Confirm all details are correct and assigned to the correct name

•    Enter name on credit card

•    Enter card number, expiry date and CVC

•    Read and agree with Terms and Conditions

•    Select ‘Buy Now’

•    A screen saying ‘Thank you for your purchase’ shows with a summary of your purchases

and a confirmation email will be sent to your registered email address.

How can I edit my personal details?

To update your Profile’s First and Last Name, Date of Birth please contact your Branch Administrator. Details Here

To update contact details, address and email address please follow the steps below

1) Login to Swim Central and from the menu select ‘Profiles’.

2) Select ‘View Profile’, for the Primary Account Holder Profile and enter your PIN (If required).

3) Select ‘Edit’

5) Update any relevant information by toggling through the icons at the top of the page. 

NB. Any fields highlighted in red are mandatory fields.

6) Once fields are completed select ‘Update Details’.

You are unable to Update Details when any mandatory fields are left blank.

7) A pop-up screen will appear displaying, ‘Profile Updated’

Swim Meets

How do I enter a swim meet through Swim Central?

1. Login to Swim Central

Enter your email and password
*Select forgot password if you do not know your password

2. Click on Events
From the lefthand panel click on events

3. Find your Event
Select the date from the calendar using the arrows for each month.
e.g. 17th July 2022

4. Click on view event

5. Click on Entries
Select the races you want to swim by clicking on the + button next to the event

Note when you select the first event a pop up will provide you will the meet entry fee information.

Click continue to select more races.

A pop-up message will tell you when a new nomination has been added to your cart.

6. Purchasing Venue Entry / Spectator Tickets
You can also purchase (free) venue entry spectator Tickets during or after your entry purchase. These tickets are not needed for swimmers just any spectators that you are bringing with you. The tickets are free and will ensure your name/guest’s name is on the door list at the venue. Click on Tickets tab, Add ticket to the trolley

7. Making Payment

When you have selected the events and tickets you want click on either:

  • Make Payment; or
  • Your Shopping Cart to check out.


8. Terms and Conditions & Credit Card Details

In your Check Out you will see the items you are purchasing on the left and card payment details and terms and conditions on the right.

You have the option to review your purchases and save your credit card for future purchases should you wish to do this. Credit Card details are stored securely by the Stripe platform behind Swim Central. Staff and club administrators do not have access to any card details you save in the system.

Before you check out you will be required to agree to the terms and conditions and click on now the green buy now button.

This will finalise your transaction and submit your entries.

9. How to Find your receipt

  • Click on Profiles > Order History
  • Select your purchase
  • Click on Invoice to download a pdf

10. How to check what you have entered & make changes before closing date

  • You can check your entries in two places: the events calendar or your order history
  • If you want to change events (prior to the closing date) you will need to view your order history and request a refund. Then follow the above process to enter the new event.
