What is Masters Swimming
Masters Swimming Australia Inc. (MSA) is an incorporated Association (no. A0042945L) incorporated in the State of Victoria in 2002. The Association is governed by a Constitution and By-Laws.
Who are our People
MSA is governed by a National Board of Management, comprising the President, Finance Director and three other elected members and there are three permanent national committees: Coaching, Swim Meet and Technical.
Branches and Clubs
MSA is an organisation for adult swimmers and adult swimming clubs around Australia with 7 Branches and over 300 Clubs Australia wide. Contact your Branch today to find a club best suited to you.
Membership
Membership is open to people who are 18 years or are older. Join a Masters Club to train and compete in club, branch and national Masters events. FINA still retains it's minimum age for competing at 25 years.

MSA (formally A.U.S.S.I) started on the 22 Sept 1975 by a group of eight men - Jack Brownjohn, John Kemp, Bill Lough, Alf Sparks, Frank Sykes, Gary Stutsel, John Wainwright and Ray Weekes.
Life Members
Since its inception in 1975 MSA has bestowed Life Memberships on 11 dedicated Volunteers/Members for their sustained excellence to the furtherance of the Association's ideals and values.
