What is Masters Swimming
Masters Swimming Australia Inc. (MSA) is an incorporated Association (no. A0042945L) incorporated in the State of Victoria in 2002.
The Association is governed by a Constitution and By-Laws.
Who are our People
MSA is governed by a National Board comprising the President, Finance Director and four (4) Directors. There are four (4) national committees: Coaching, Membership & Participation, Diversity & Inclusion and Technical.
States/Territory and Clubs
MSA is an organisation for adult swimmers and adult swimming clubs around Australia with seven (7) States/Territory's and over 300 Clubs Australia wide. MSA has developed a Club Finder app to assist you to find the right club.
Membership
Membership is open to people who are 18 years or are older. Join a Masters Club to train and compete in club, State/Territory and national Masters events. World Aquatics still retains it's minimum age for competing at 25 years.

Insurance Information
MSA provides a national insurance program that covers all affiliated States/Territory, affiliated Clubs, current members and volunteers, coaches and officials. The program is managed by V Insurance and includes:

Coaching and Officials
Coaches and Technical Officials are an incredibly important part of Masters Swimming and we encourage you to think about how you can help your clubs and States/Territory.
Coaching accreditation is managed online via the Dita platform.
Life Members
Since its inception in 1975 MSA has bestowed Life Memberships on 13 dedicated Volunteers/Members for their sustained excellence to the furtherance of the Association's ideals and values. We thank them for all their passion for masters swimming in Australia.

MSA produces an Annual Report every year reporting on its activities and State/Territory activities during the previous calendar year.
